Scenarios

Six situations where A3.Drive replaces scattered file storage. Each is described through the API contract: who creates the object, who holds it and what happens on deletion.

  • A company drive

Policies, contract templates and marketing materials live in one place instead of personal folders and chat threads.

  • Attachments in deals and tickets

A product stops storing files itself and keeps only bindings. One attachment can serve several entities at once.

  • Signed documents and retention periods

The document workflow freezes a specific version under a signature and sets the legal retention period. A3.Drive enforces both rules.

  • Working with a contractor without an account

An external participant receives a link with an expiry and a password. With edit rights they work on the document straight in the browser.

  • Moving from an external cloud

An archive from OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or Yandex Disk is moved as a job, without manual downloading and re uploading.

  • Storage for a customer product

An external integration gets the same contract as A3 products, limited by permissions and one time tokens.

Shall we look at your scenario?

Describe where the files sit today and which entities should hold them. We will propose a binding scheme and the order of adopting the contract.
